Brian Betz is a prominent guitarist, composer, and educator based in the Philadelphia metropolitan area, known for performing nationwide with a diverse array of musical artists. Recognized for his hard-driving, straight-ahead jazz style, he has released six acclaimed albums on the Dreambox Media label: Up and Running (2001), Without A Doubt (2003), Dichotomy (2005), Muted Bebop (2006), The Denis DiBlasio/Brian Betz Project (2007), and The Denis DiBlasio/Brian Betz Project—Flute Guitar (2010).

A dedicated academic, Betz holds both his Bachelor of Music (BM) and Master of Music (MM) degrees from Rowan University, where he currently serves on the faculty and heads the jazz guitar department. Beyond his university commitments, he is heavily sought after for concerts, clinics, and masterclasses across the United States. His resume includes high-profile festival appearances at the Exit Zero International Jazz Festival, Berks Jazz Festival, True Blue Jazz Festival, Cape May Jazz Festival, Rowan University Jazz Festival, and the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival.
